this thesis presents the hypothesis that newest technology, such as augmented reality, in a play game form may improve 4-5-year-old children’s knowledge on traffic and stimulate safe behavior in traffic situations.
in contrast of today extremely poor kids behavior in traffic environments , with AR interactive game would be possible to transfer the knowledge to actual behavior.
Simply giving information does not necessarily make children’s behaviour any safer. Visual AR game would teach kids safety indirectly, through the most effective method in education - children’s active participation, making them to do things by themselves, practicing in real traffic situations
improving the traffic environment is the measure that has the greatest potential.
